North York Moors National Park Authority send all Planning Applications for the Parish to Hinderwell Parish Council for our comments.

Parish Maintenance

Maintenance of the Parish is carried out by the NYC (North Yorkshire Council)

The NYC is responsible for all the roads, pavements and roadside verges. They repair pot holes and care for roadside drainage, unblocking the gutters, sweeping up the leaves, etc.

They care for all of the other areas of the Parish, including harbourside, car parks, parks and play areas.

Yorkshire Coast Homes and Beyond Housing looks after all the social housing and grass areas in their vicinity.
